Whether you choose a simple inscription or a very personal message, it's easy to do in our online Product Designer.

Personalised Serving Trays
Always a gratefully received gift, you can now take one of our slate serving trays to the next level and personalise it to create a truly unique gift with a highly personal touch.
Featuring stainless steel antler-shaped handles, you can add your personal message to a plain slate tray, or personalise a tray that features one of our classic stag engravings. All personalised trays are presented in one of our famous gift boxes.
Personalised Coasters
Personalise a set of 4 slate coasters as a practical but very personal gift - or treat yourself to a set of unique coasters for your home bar!
Heart shaped coasters especially make great engagement, wedding or anniversary gifts and might be personalised with a romantic message or simply the couple's names and significant date.

Personalised Table Runners
One of the great things about a personalised table runner is how much space you have to add your message! You may still choose to simply add a discrete message to the runner, or personalise it with big, bold text that makes a real statement.
You can personalise a runner that is a completely clean slate, or add your message to a runner that is engraved with one of our iconic images. Always a popular gift, all personalised items are presented in a beautiful gift box.
How to Personalise ...
Click the product you'd like to personalise from the cards above. This will take you to a product detail page with full information on that product, and the price including personalisation and VAT where applicable. Please make a note of this as the Product Designer will initially show the price ex VAT until you complete your personalisation and put it in your cart.
Ignore the BUY NOW and ADD TO CART buttons and click the PERSONALISED JUST FOR YOU button on the detail page.
This takes you to the Product Designer where you can add your personal message - not just add text, but you can choose the font style, size, and position of your message. You can add as little or as much text as you want.
The product image will have some text on it when you arrive at the Product Designer. This is simply to give customers some basic info on what they can do (in case they haven't read this section!) and can be deleted or edited for your own use. It's really quite easy to use, so feel free to jump right in - and refer to the guide below if you need to.
Product Designer Options
Add new text
Click on an empty space so nothing else is selected. On the left side type your text on the "Enter Text" box. You can press return here for new lines, or do that later on the image.
Delete text
Click on a block of text so the orange control blocks appear, and press the DELETE key on your keyboard.
Move text
Click on a block of text so the orange control blocks appear, and hover your mouse over the text. Click, holding down the mouse button, and drag the text to a new position.
Change text style
Click on a block of text so the orange control blocks appear. On the left side under "Change Font" choose from Traditional, Modern. and Script fonts.
Change text size
Click on a block of text so the orange control blocks appear. You can increase and decrease font size with the arrows beside the "Font Size" on the left side, or you can drag any of the control handles around the selected text. Corner handles increase font size while maintaining proportion. Top, bottom, and side handles will stretch the text.
Rotate text
Click on a block of text so the orange control blocks appear. Drag the handle that sticks out the top to rotate the text block.
If you make a mistake, the Undo button under the image will take you back in time.
Finishing Up
When you have finished adding your personal message, look at the options in the top right corner.
Preview your design
The Preview button gives you a final chance to confirm how your personalisation looks before you commit to buy.
Please check carefully as this is the exact graphic we will use to create your unique item and you cannot return a personalised item unless it is damaged or we have made a mistake in producing it that does not match your personalisation.
Save your design
If you are not ready to buy your item, or you need to finish the personalisation later, click Save to store it in your account on our site. You will be asked to log in before this can happen, or to create an account if you don't already have one.
We stronglyrecommend you save your design before adding it to your shopping cart, in case something goes wrong during your checkout process.
You will find your saved designs under the MY DESIGNS button on the left side.

What Happens Next ...
Once you have checked out and paid, your order gets transferred to our customer service team. They will route personalised products to our production team who will create your item, while any other items on your order are picked and packed from stock. It can take an extra 3 working days for personalised products to go through our production stages, then your whole order will be combined and despatched.
